Private Secretary,(Gujarat Stenographer, Grade-I), Class-II Exam Pattern
We have said earlier that to clear any exam, it is very important to know the pattern and syllabus of that exam. To clear this exam of GPSC Private Secretary, (Gujarat Stenographer, Grade-I), Class-II, it is very important to know its pattern as it is quite different from the rest of the exam.
This test is mainly taken in three Tiers (if the interview is counted in the Main Exam, then two stages). Now we alternately understand all the stages
Tier 1 for Private Secretary, (Gujarat Stenographer, Grade-I), Class-II Exam
This exam is of shorthand type. The main purpose of this examination is to check how the candidate can write orally. Through this exam, the candidate is selected for the Main exam.
Tier 2 for Private Secretary,(Gujarat Stenographer, Grade-I), Class-II Exam(GPSC)
Only the selected candidate from Tier 1 can give this exam. The candidates preferred to appear in this examination have to go to the official website and fill the online form again and scan the required certificate and upload it online.
Two papers are taken in the main exam. Both papers are of 100-100 marks. Total is given 2 hours for the first paper while for the second paper 83 minutes (8 + 75) is given. For more information, you can see the image and table
Tier 3: Interview for Private Secretary, (Gujarat Stenographer, Grade-I), Class-II Exam(GPSC)
Those who are called for the Main exam are called for the interview. Three times the candidates of total vacancy can appear for the Interview and Main exam which will be selected from the Prelim Exam.

Exam Syllabus for Main Exam Paper 2

Educational Qualification:
A candidate shall possess
(i)Bachelor’s degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed university under section 3 of the University Grant Commission Act,1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government; A candidate who has appeared or intend to appear or awaiting the result of final semester/year of the required qualification, can apply, but the candidate has to qualify and submit the required qualification as advertised before the last date of submitting the application for mains examination
(ii)the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment(General)Rules-1967; and(iii)Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
Pay Scale: Rs.44,900 to Rs.1,42400
Age: A candidate shall not be less than 20 years of age and not be more than 40 years of age
